Sharing photos on social media, websites, and newsletters allows us to share about our school with the community. We respect our families’ privacy; it is important you let us know if images/videos of your child(ren) is permitted. A “No” will have covered faces or you can reach out to PTA directly if you do not wish for your child(ren) to have any photos taken of them. We will do our best to keep track, but please also communicate your choices to your child so they are aware.

PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in America. Today’s PTA is comprised of parents, teachers, grandparents, caregivers, foster parents and other caring adults who share a commitment to improving the education, health, and safety of all children.

Many of the benefits our children receive today, such as universal kindergarten, the National School Lunch Program, and a juvenile justice system, were accomplished as a result of the PTA mission.

Your $8 membership promotes parent and family involvement in the school, supports MHS, and allows you to vote on MHS PTA decisions. MHS PTA gets $1.70 of the $8 and the rest is distributed amongst district, state and national levels of PTA.

Would you like to join the MHS PTA?

The kick-off to the school year is our biggest fundraising opportunity. The funds received bridge the gap between limited government funding and what our students and educators need to thrive. Without your generous donations, many of our programs would not be possible. Our goal is $150,000 to cover our projected budget. Our suggested donation is $250 per child, but any thoughtful amount is greatly appreciated and you can spread your donations through-out the year as well!

Last year’s funds provided additional class materials, field trips, and special guest performers for our assemblies. We accept donations throughout the year, but the sooner we reach our goal, the sooner we can solidify the plans.

If you are able to give more and/or can sponsor a family that may not be able to contribute, we appreciate your help and compassion. We accept any amount throughout the year.
